Wesley House receives a large amount of financial support from the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg as well as other United Methodist Churches in the district and from the Great Plains Conference.  We are also supported by the United Way and are the recipients of many donations from individuals, businesses, civic groups, area churches and businesses. For many of the special programs, funding comes through grants from organizations such as the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas, Pritchett Fund and Delta Dental.

 

The Great Plains Annual Conference and numerous other grants pays almost all of the staff salary.  All donations and grants are used for our programming and special projects.

 

 

We always welcome donation and money. We are always welcome to any food drives that organizations would like to have for us.  Cereal, canned vegetables, fruit, soup and taco shells are always needed.   Our pantry serves about 400 people a week which is roughly 2500 lbs of food.
